When I was about 8, I saw a pack of trading cards at walmart, I used to hate the way naruto looked, but then I saw a preview of the anime on tv and watched an episode. Afterwards I bought a volume and It quicly became my favorite series!

I think I was in 9th or 10th grade, I went over to a friends house and it was playing on toonami and it was the episode when Naruto destroyed Haku's ice mirror technique. After seeing that I was hooked and couldn't stop watching it. Ironically my friend who got me into Naruto quit Naruto when Kishi decided to go ham on fillers before they started animating Shippuden.
