Pain had most raw power/destruction and could have wiped them off the map without talk no jutsu. Orochi's attack was my favorite though, the lower power scale during that time of the show really let his intelligence and foresight come through more than anything. Too good.

Hmmmm, Orochimaru's was well planned out and failed mostly because Gaara was wounded and couldn't release Shukaku, which would've been a considerable turn to lay waste to Konoha. Using the Chunin exams as a guise was smart, even though he technically told Konoha about it beforehand in his meeting with Anko (By the way, where the **** is she? LOL).

Obito was smart enough to set up a plan to get Minato away from Kushina to extract Kurama and keep the Hokage separated from the village.

Pain more or less charged in there like a herd of stampeding elephants. He basically just used overwhelming power to get the best result from the three invasions. However, his goal was actually to find Naruto. Attacking was secondary.

Obito. He created mistrust with his attack, which led to the Uchiha Massacre. That was the worst.

there's nothing that clever about Oro's either. All he did was use the Chunin Exams and Konoha's trust of Suna-nin as a means of sneaking in operatives. It's didn't take a Rhodes scholar to have come up with something like that. At least Pain did noticeable and lasting dmg to the place, which is more than can be said for anything either Oro or Obito came up with. Ironically, both of their atks failed monumentally despite the amount of brainstorming they put it into because there were certain things that happened that they never accounted for.

Truth be told, you or anyone else that would try to argue no amount of thinking went into Pain's atk would be seriously and grievously wrong since he basically mapped the plan out for Konan that each individual would atk different sections of the village to not only confuse the military, but to also interrogate them about Naruto's whereabouts while doing so. That sounds like someone who went in with a plan to me.

In terms of damage, it would have to be the pain attack. But not only did Orochimaru force the 3rd Hokage to sacrifice himself which was a huge loss for the leaf, but he also ended up killing the 4th Kazekage which was part of his plan to destroy the hidden leaf. I feel the events that lead up to Orochimaru's attempt to destroy the leaf were over-all much more interesting.

i voted for orochimaru! he knew he i'snt that strong to face all the leaf ninja unlike pain who just used his brute force to destroy the hidden village, orochimaru planned and plotted the attack, even killing the kazikage and hokage, used sand ninja and disguised as kazikage..
