Lol, Utakata is pretty OP...if we're including filler feats, Utakata can go airborne in his bubble and avoid the water dome altogether. But a bubble's speed isn't that fast, and Kisame can "fly" in his water dome...and shark summons can probably bite through the bubble, and Kisame can go up and absorb it off him. V2 state doesn't pose a threat as we've already seen against Bee. Yeah, Kisame wins this with mid difficulty.

His clothing wasn't torn, he probably med diff'd 4 tails though now that you mention it. He definitely had less trouble than Killer Bee, who he was already beating.

I doubt Kisame fused with Samehada in that fight because as stated above his clothing wasn't torn and he came out of the fight unfazed, or Roshi never actually hit him.

Kisame definitely under estimated Roshi which was his mistake. Kisame was telling Itachi that he was extremely strong. I doubt it was Mid-Dif

I can't say high diff if his clothing wasn't torn, that means Roshi wasn't able to hit him. Yea he can heal himself, but his clothing can't heal, sadly he's not Piccolo xD.

Kisame seems to be mocking the difficulty by saying "should I "half kill" your target (Naruto) too?"

Kisame says he was tired after the fight, but he also seems to mock how annoying it is that the Jins have to be left half alive instead of just directly killing them. So to be fair to Kisame, he wasn't allowed to kill Roshi.

Firstly we never saw their fight. Secondly Kisame stated that this was his hardest fight ever and he even told Itachi that he doesn't know what he had went trough, because Itachi didn't see it. However i think that this happened because Goku has lava release, and samehada is hurt by fire. Kisame wins mid dif.

We didn't see the fight, but there's enough inferring to be made. I change my mind about the low diff though. I really can't say higher than medium diff.

1. Kisame's clothing isn't torn. That means he wasn't damaged in the fight. As said above Samehada can heal his body, but not his clothes since he's not Piccolo from DBZ.

2. He couldn't kill Roshi, so it limited him in that sense.

3. He took down Killer Bee who was stated by Kisame himself in the same fight to be the strongest Jinchuuriki. I know ABC logic doesn't always work, but it works with Bijuus.
