Edit: Also the incapitation argument is dumb. Only skilled kenjutsu/shurkienjutsu users can incapitate someone while moving at high speeds as it requires incredible accuracy to do so. It's not as easy as most people think. Lee is not a skilled kenjutsu practioner and doesn't have much experience with it. In fact, the databook stated that gai never used bladed weapons and hated such tools.

@Touken: Gai prefers weapons w/o blades (and most likely Lee by extention), that doesn't mean they don't use cutting ninja tools when needed. Damn, they're already restricted to taijutsu and bukijutsu only, that would be overkill.

Lee can definitely blitz Tsunade, considering in Gates he outpaced one of Madara's Truth-Seeker Orbs and in CQC, he has much more skill/technique. In VS threads we assume both characters have no morals unless the OP's stated otherwise, and so giving Lee a kunai would allow him to get past Tsunade/Sakura's Byakugo, and therefore beat them.

I don't remember them using cutting weapons either, but it makes sense since that's not their style at all.
However, i don't see why can't they use standard weapons at all. What else could be in their hip pouches?

Even considering all that, Tsunade has tanked a lot w/o receiving the expected damage (Yasaka Magatama, Chakra Scalpel...). I just can't picture a kunai beheading her clean like that o-o (it doesn't make much sense either imo).
