Sharinghan can't see through the mist so neither Amatarsu nor kamui can hit zabuza and these jutsu became useless once zabuza activated his mist and zabuza always strike first during all his fights.

I agree that zabuza will lose to itachi , and kakashi already had MS when rin died so he had MS since he was around 14 and he fought zabuza at age of 27.

Kakashi had MS when he fought zabuza and he didn't use kamui doesn't mean he didn't have MS.
