How do action scenes compare to let's say Michal Bay's Transformers?

i went in thinking it was gonna suckass...i was pleasantly surprised....dont get me wrong its not a great movie...its no bad tho, i give it 5 out or 10
the first 30-40 mins the stories actually seems interesting, then its like the just threw it out the window

5/10 just cuz of the fight at the end, It wasn't bad but I just found it boring, that's just me tho.

The thing is and the biggest problem is that many individuals compare this movie towards the 1998 which wasn't Godzilla but actually zilla. People thought they were the same and compared the two but there on completely two different levels. This Godzilla movie was actually a Kajiu movie and when Godzilla first appeared everyone(including myself) started clapping and yelling. In order to really enjoy this movie you have to know the history of it, that it is based off of the 1954-2004 Godzilla. The Real Godzilla, King of the Monsters .

Have seen every Godzilla movie at least 3 times.

You cannot compare Godzilla to Transformers. This movie actually has build up towards the battles. While transformers it's just CGI and action for 2 hours.
