did madara originally awaken 1 or 2 rinnegan

i wonder did madara awaken both rinnegan at the same time before his death or 1 like sasuke and the other a little later because the first time we see madara after his fight is when he meets obito so thats enough time to have gotten both rinnegan madara and sasuke are both reincarnated verions of indra but i believe there were more because hagormo says madara messed up the flow by mixing hashirama powers with his own proving that there were others but did not awaken the rennigan sasuke and madara are the only 2 humans to awaken the rinnegan but i wonder why sasukes only got one rinnegan and its so different to madaras in the way it looks and abilities thank you very much what do you guys think?

sasuke did not awaken a rinnegan, he was given a rinnegan. same as the rinnegan in madara's forehead, madara did not awaken it, it was given to him by the juubi tree.

So we dont know what type of rinnegans Sasuke would have awakened. that's the thing about Sasuke, he never even developed Sharingan jutsu's of his own.

Madara said sasuke awakened the one eye Rinnegan ... What the sage gave sasuke is unknown besides the moon mark on his hand and yin chakra... How can the sage give sasuke the 9t or 6t Rinnegan if he doesn't even have it?

Also Sasuke's case is completely different, he awakened Rinnegan after he recieved Hagoromo's chakra.

Manga never answered that. Madara saw Sasuke's eye and called it RINNEGAN. So I have a feeling that he went through the same process i.e. 1 eye with tomoes then the true rinnegan.
