if you think about it if healthy nagato knew clone jutsu(with his great chakra pooL) insta 6 paths of pain while all of them would fight better then the puppets he usually uses. also each path would have the power of all six paths. hell even two nagato would be to much for people to handle.

when you use shadow clones your chakra is distributed so its not like if he made 3 that they would have all the power he originally has

yea i second this cos shadow clones divide the chakra and also create prefect clones of the original and nagato being a rinnegan user would just drain his chakra.

And if the paths were Bunshins that would be stupid, Deva Path managed to take ALLOT of damage and still be fully functioning.
He even got hit with atleast 3 tons worth of rock and kept on fighting, but of course a regular rasengan kills him!
