Easily Kishimoto's best work.. I believe Itachi is a hero in every sense of the word.

Nope. The end does not justify the means. There were multiple ways to go about getting the Leaf and Uchiha to get along. First he could have suggested that they break apart form the leaf completely they have choice and im sure Hiruzen would not have killed them should they choose to live completely separate as in not even apart of the leaf. and from there they could have worked on making good relations with the leaf because they would be there own country and could rule from themselves. Itachi could have convinced shisui to use his jutsu to to hypnotize the whole village (shisui could use his just as much as he wanted, because in the manga he was roughly 15 or 16, he probably didn't develop his MS tll he was about 7 or so, only way from him to know what his MS tech is is to use it, and if he had a 10 year limit he wouldn't be able to practice it and know what it really does considering he didn't live for more then 10 years since he activated his MS) only non Uchiha have a issue with usage of Sharingan jutsu. Itachi saved his brother but destroyed his clan. Even if sasuke has children his child is 50% uchiha, grand child is 25% uchiha, great grands are 12.5% uchiha and his great great grands will be 6% uchihaand if they decide to mate with each other they will have much bigger health problems then the inability to activate sharingan. Itachi could have convinced Hiruzen and the other elders (excluding danzo) to talk to the uchiha have serious negotiations. I watched the anime so i dont wanna here the BS. There is only one way for what Itachi did to be good, and that is if Sasuke gains the ability to bring the dead back like Obito did and Nagato.

not only was he a hero, he was one of the toughest characters i'v ever seen :yeah:

to see the bigger picture at that age (he was young) and to carry the burden/do the unthinkable for the greater good makes him a very special character/best written in the series.

love/hate, it's a matter of prospective (that's one of the reasons he's a great character).

Oh man, seriously though, I'm going to say he's a hero.
Why? Bcuz I love Itachi, he's a badass. No other reason.

Very true, many people whorship Hitler for his heroic acts. But I'm one of many who won't consider him as anti hero, but consider him as a nutcase mass murderer

all uchiwa are scrum and deserve death which is why Itachi is biggest hero.

my only regret is that GODKING TOBIRAMA wasnt the one to mercilessly slaughter them one by one
