Did anyone else find the latest episode confusing?

What the hell, I swear the anime just jumped from one scene to another.

Gai's Hirudara coming out and dissapearing with a massive white cloud explosion

The red 10 tails thing then randomly popping up after the massive explosion - where was its preparation? Was it in the last episode before the filler? Am I missing something?

I know what you mean... i feel the same way ... the anime staff might be purposely trying to sabotage the anime or they're maybe don't want to make some extra efforts to "perfect" the anime... i just feel they are not doing the anime "justice" as it is depicted in the manga!

agreed, but ya it was throughout the last non-filler eps.. They didnt focus on it much tho, like they should have.

I think i understand what you mean, there was supose to be this epic fight between naruto and madara and a bunch of other things, this is why i dont tell people to just watch the anime becuaase you will miss out on important things that the anime creators decide they dont feel like covering.

That and Tenzo/Yamato in his f*cking test tube scratching at it... I swear that was like half of every episode when he was in it...

It's simply that there were many things happening at that time. Madara vs. Naruto at that point was a very short battle in the manga (1,5 chapters), so obviously it feels even shorter in the anime.

And the scene did switch back and forth between Naruto/Madara, Kakashi/Obito and the Bijuus trying to destroy the Mazou a lot in these chapter(s).

So, the reason you are confused is probably the combination of not being used to the current plot (because of the filler) and the quick pacing of events in these manga chapters.
