Physically, he is a tall man with a somewhat angular face and a phenomenally developed physique. His hair is jet black and long, and usually kept in a pony tail. His attire consists of a set of black pants with European styled boots, and a short sleeved shirt, colored blue. He also wears a floor length, red and white cloak, which seems to be slightly heavier than usual. The cloak has numerous pouches on the inside sleeves, and in other areas, where he keeps weapons, scrolls, and ninja tools for easy access during his battles. Hiko's weapon is a shirasaya nihonto (a katana with a wooden sheath and hilt), and is kept attatched to his side at all times.

個人性|Personality
Hiko is shown to be very sarcastic, egotistical and a punishing taskmaster.He dislikes the complications of socialization, and hearing of the ills of society, both which he finds annoying, and to the latter's weight, ultimately incessant and depressing. In order to avoid having to work with people, he makes his living as a pottery artist alone on a mountain (a profession that he is reported to excel at). He also comes off as somewhat lazy, training an apprentice simply to have him defeat an opponent so that Hiko wouldn't have to.
Despite this rough exterior, he has a deep sense of responsibility to his friends and those he protects in the rare cases when he does get involved. He loves mainly himself, his friends, and Sake. While he is frequently seen drinking copious amounts of sake alone, he never becomes drunk unless he drinks a ridiculously absurd amount. He also seems to possess considerable insight, wisdom, and foresight. He has also however been described as:"twisted, brusque and misanthropic", being vindictive to the point that he remembers more embarrassing and negative things about a person than who they really are.
Hiko also has a strong moral code, on how he thinks the martial arts should be used. He believes that one should use the martial arts as a way to relieve others from suffering, and to protect the weak. He however has no qualms about killing, and he was shown to kill a large group of bandits in cold blood.

背景情報|Background Info
History
Hiko was born in the Land of Water, in Kirigakure. It is unknown who his parents were, or even where they originated. From an early age however, Hiko excelled in the ninja academy, especially in the art of close quarters combat. He was able to easily overpower the other children, and even most of the adults. One day, his village was attacked by bandits. The other shinobi were away on a mission, it was up to Hiko to save the day. Hiko took up a sword, and using instict alone was able to butcher most of the enemy. This was the start of a new life for Hiko. The Mizukage appointed Hiko as an ANBU. From there, Hiko had many adventures. He was an assassin, saboteur, and at one point a mercenary. During the course of his travels however, Hiko was able to master and create a large number of Fighting styles. He was arguably one of the greatest close quarters combatants ever to live. One day however, he tired of all the constant fighting and killing. He decided to join a different village called Iwagakure. He wanted a village that was more mature, and that was the one he chose. He quite liked it there, everyone was very nice to him. This was not an end however to Hiko's adventures. Merely a new beginning.

Taijutsu and Kenjutsu:
Hiko, is one of the foremost experts of taijutsu on the planet. Hiko does not hold back when he fights, is supremely analytical in combat, understands the nature of his opponents, and is at peak physical condition. He has practiced with numerous teachers, and learned countless styles. He has above average speed, reactions, and strength. He is in addition to this, well versed in many weapons. He carries a sword with him at all times, hanging to his side. Th He also has several boomerangs, a gas mask, some loose cloth (as well as a sewing kit), and various other standard ninja tools.
Gyojin:
The Gyojin clan share some basic abilities related to their genetic traits, such as: their incredible physical abilities (about 2 times stronger and 1.5 times faster then a regular human), a naturally occurring mucoprotein (common to fish) that is both a protection against bacterial infections but also a natural insulator, the ability to breathe underwater, an uncommon resistance to D-rank and under water techniques, and finally incredible swimming speed.
Then, as you rise amongst the clan’s rank, a clansman develops/is taught some new abilities: a strong affinity with water (being able to use B-rank and under without handseals as well as defining their resistance to water jutsus, being unaffected by C-rank and under), a new branch of taijutsu called Gyojin Karate (customs to be submitted), the ability to sense bodies of water and everything inside a water source, and ultimately high rank clansman are allowed to sign the contract with the mighty Sea Kings (custom to be submitted).
Element
Hiko is very well versed in the skills of elemental ninjutsu. As a Gyojin, obviously his main affinity is water. Although, his skill in earth is above average as well. He can use all Earth jutsu with slightly reduced handseals, and slightly faster than the average shinobi. In addition, he can switch from element to element very smoothly.
