Overall, ok. But I don't want to watch Lucy, Erza, Mira, Demons and stuff. That's lame. Silver must be shown more. Also, they should have Laxus recovered and Gildarts on the stage. Now that would be a show! Overkill!

Awesome chapter a little back story of Aquarius and her owners from Lucy's mom to lucy, a real touching chapter no more aqurious now lucy is down to nine keys. The celestial spirit king calling him to battle awsome and he knows the king of hades, them being kings and all of there own dimension. Finally does killing that monster thing free the fairy tail wizards.

I've been playing for months now with the idea that if you summon all 12 zodiac spirits by the same person or use all the 12 keys at the same time, you could summon a far stronger spirit like the son of the Spirit King or the Spirit King himself. Just some random thought that has been lingering into my mind mainly out of curiosity to see what would happen if one person would have all 12 keys.

Bwahahaha.

Most intriguing though is the interaction between the Spirit King and the King of Hades. It totally did not occur to me before that they could be linked. I just considered both of them separate type of magics like there are thousands, but now that I read this chapter the Celestial Spirits are the exact opposites of Demons and the Celestial Magic the opposite of Curse Magic. Two sides of the same coins.

Wow anticlimactic after last week's chapter.

Apparently it was too much to ask for a good Lucy fight and show her growth as a main character. Natsu can do ANYTHING, but Lucy can't control 3 out of the 12 keys at the same time. Wouldn't be that much of a stretch if she was able to do that after 385 chapters and power ups.

Hiro gave her the easy way out of breaking a key, which feels kind of a cheap way to summon the strongest spirit there is. I liked the ideas of being able to summon all 12 at the same time more before you are able to summon him, as was discussed in last week's thread.

Spirit king is cool and them feels were so sad, but it felt so unnecessary. He blew one of his friends up and the other walked away. It was a simple 1 vs 1 and Lucy didn't get her time to shine.

What probably irks me the most is how this will be handled in the future, because there is no way that 1 of the 12 keys will be broken forever, it will probably be restored by 'the bond between human and spirit' or some crap.

Virgo and Loki got 1 hit KO'ed this chapter by some henchmen of the big bad. How will they stand up against enemies in the future if they can't even do a single thing with 2 strong spirits and the strongest gate of the Lion ?

Lucy should've pulled this off with 3 gates, if three spirits in a unison raid would be able to summon the spirit king to take their place I would be more understanding than what happened now. This is a cop out.

Elaborate further because you have yet to give good detail to how this was a cop out... Virgo/Loke/Aquarius were no match for Jackal and Torafusa.. Why? Because they simply possess more power.. Lucy gains in power to keep them materialized in the human world.. The sprits strength are their own.. And they haven't gotten any stronger.. Add in the fact Lucy was badly injured you actually though she stood a shot in hell against Jackal? Bullshit.

And the summoning wasn't cheap at all if anything Lucy still loses her friend and a rare magical item..

Lucy's been growing as a character for awhile its not even subtle it's blatantly obvious..

"Natsu can do anything" he's had numerous helping hands in battle.. Lucy helped him beat Franmalrh with quick thinking a few chapters ago.. And his growth as a character keeps going back and forth and ill assume this arc and the next will be all about him growing

and to me very understanding, people need to realize Natsu >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lucy
and the ONLY reason Natsu beated Jackal is because he can eat flames/explosions and he just ate them or neutuarlized him from his body. Jackal is a top tier wizard, so saying it was a 1vs1 is like putting Natsu Vs Sting and Rogue. Jackal wouldve whooped all her mages ass and hers.. overall
