Nagato was ridiculously weakened fighting Naurto Bee and Itachi.

Which means we still don't know his true power.

1: Fake Rinnegan. The insane power difference between Edo Madara and Madara with Rinnegan shows that Fake Rinnegan created by Edo Tensei are much weaker than normal.
2: Kabuto's incomplete Edo Tensei. Kabuto's edo's were not revived at full power, otherwise Madara would have been stomped when he was revived.

And of course, he was immobile.

And yet, with both of these massive power drops, he was still able to utterly destroy Bee and Naruto, and be Far far stronger than Pain.

(Yes i know Itachi was weakened too.)

I thought the full power notion only applies to the likes of the four Hokages. Nagato can not go an further, as he is not the one who awakened the Rinnegan.

Yeah even with how godly nagato seemed to be when introduced he was still vastly powered down haha. Edo tensei didn't really do any zombie justice except for itachi and madara, nagato was nerfed even further

I agree with you man. I still think Nagato > Itachi. All people got is that "one panel" bullshit from Itachi which for one isn't really a one panel since it took time to even get up to that. Two, Nagato was wrecking all three (Naruto, Bee and Itachi) for a good portion of the fight. Three, it took one of the ultimate sealing tools to beat a weakened version of Nagato. Yeaaahh, REAL GG there, Itachi. Yeah, Itachi won in the end, but I'm still always going to think Nagato >>>>>>> Itachi.

Nagato was not as proficient with the Rinnegan. To begin with, it was because it was implanted in him as a child, rather than him awakening it himself.

His abilities with the Rinnegan would always be limited. That said, I agree that a more versatile Nagato would have been quite deadly.

Note that while he was weaker as an Edo, he also couldn't die, only be sealed, so it's fair enough.

On a more serious note, I agree to some extent. The difference isn't as great as you make it out to be, but it's still a fair amount.

Nagato as Pain was powerful enough to act as leader of the Akatsuki.
