I am in no way saying in this thread that they are not equal, or that they are, nor am I saying which is stronger than the either. I just wanna point out how two things people commonly say to confirm Naruto and Sasuke being equal doesn't necessarily mean they're equal
1. That Kishi said they progress as a pair. This does not mean that when Kishi raises Naruto to a strength level, that he raises Sasuke to that same strength level. This is obvious in the many times Sasuke has stronger than Naruto, and the many times Naruto has been stronger than Sasuke. All this means is that when Kishi makes an improvement for Naruto, he thinks of an improvement for Sasuke and vice versa. He could raise Naruto from a level 30 to a 35, and Sasuke from a 32 to a 42, and that's still progressing them as a pair.
2. They each got 50% power from Rikudou. This just means the boost they got was equal, but the total it now creates might not be. From the way I saw it, it seemed like Naruto had a slight edge on Sasuke prior to becoming Rikudou's, I just couldn't see Sasuke defending from things like a TBB Barrage, so I put Naruto a little higher. If their boost in power is equal, then it's possible that Sasuke is still weaker, or hell, it's possible that Naruto is weaker. Going back to levels, if they both got a +100 boost from Rikudou, then one could go from 32 to 132 and the other from 30 to 130.
Fact of the matter is, we don't know right now if Naruto and Sasuke are equal, or who is stronger if the two aren't.
