Guess it's clearly shown now in the recent chapter that he's gone, and thus so ends the story of Obito Uchiha who despite causing most of the madness in the series to begin with, he still did so out of a false belief of having a world with his beloved once again.

The one who helped shaped Kakashi into what he is now with his team mentality, (indirectly) helped shaped Naruto into the shinobi that he is today and had so much development from the very beginning without our own knowledge.

If naruto does have yang release(which breathes life into something), then he could potentially bring obito back. That is assumeing obito is actually dead, and not just completely surpressed by black zetsu(who was also keeping him alive)

Its a bit early to say obito is dead yet.
