Buy or sell: Sakura using genjutsu in this fight

And then we were informed she is indeed a genjutsu type. Naruto and Sasuke have already mixed it up with taijutsu and ninjutsu, the missing piece would logically be genjutsu. So, buy or sell the idea of Sakura utilizing any sort of genjutsu or a genjutsu/illusion related power up?

I think she is the only one who has a chance at it, at the end of the day I think genjutsu is about chakra control, and if somebody is to sominate Madara in remote chakra control (genjutsu) it should be Sakura.

Sakura is a joke. She can't ever break Itachi's Tsukoyomi. Her being a genjutsu type means nothing at this point. Any Mangekyou Sharingan genjutsu or above would make her vegetable

I highly doubt it. Even if sakura knows any genjutsu who is to say it will have any effect on a person planing on casting the ultimate illusion and is also the possessor of the most powerful bloodline in existence, is a sage and the jinchuriki of the juubi.

Don't see it happening. Genjutsu should not work on the Rinnegan, let alone the jinchuuriki of the Juubi and someone the caliber of ninja as Madara. Hashirama has genjutsu skills, so Madara is probably no stranger to combating it as well.

its true she was a genjutsu type and everything however even if she did use genjutsu i dont see it being effective against a juubi jin madara..

although if you look at it in a supportive point of view then even if she puts him under genjutsu for only a few seconds its still long enough for naruto and sasuke to make use of that opening

i would say its possible

think how useful it would be for sakura to make use of genjutsu via touch rather ocular or sound..

since she is originally a genjutsu type it would suit her current taijutsu style and would be a formiddable combination.. of course still not on the level of madara but it would deffinetly make her more useful
