What he says is making some kind of sense really. What OP is trying to convey is that there is no inherent right or wrong, we decide something is wrong and something is right. Rape could just as easily have been something we deemed right as we deemed it wrong. OP is saying we as human see things and define them as right or wrong, nothing is right or wrong naturally.

On the contrary rikersalad, a person deeming for example rape or murder as not a sin or a bad act is his own subjective opinion. However the general consensus shared by people and reaffirmed by the law is that it is a "sin" or rather an offense. That is an established fact, hence why one is punished when the commit crimes.

It is an established fact that rape is bad because someone decided it was. That's what OP is saying.
