Ultimately it's starting to seem that way. How should we justify the survival of characters like Guy, Bee or the Trollkage?

Yeah but Naruto being Jesus is sort of... Well, frankly.. Lame. Bee surviving the same way, again and a 2nd time... It is lame and predictable. Frankly nobody dying is making the inevitability of a war arc sorta crap IMO.

Bee only lost a tentacle with Taka, this time he was only left with a tentacle. That is different. There has been death and Kishi doesnt need death to make his story good.

also people don't need to die for a story to be good just look at one piece theres been like two deaths and oda barely kills fodder heck i don't think any villains have died, yet one piece is loved by millions me included
another manga that is seen as the greatest of them all dbz, whos actually died and stayed dead? they just all come back to life

whats important is a characters struggle not if they die or not

I don't know he kinda failed that point right off the bat, with Neji's death.

I think its more likely that Kishi is trying to follow Narutoverse logic, since Naruto has the godlike power which only purpose we've seen so far is to create (kakashi's eye, Gai's lifeforce). The logic being, if Naruto has the great power then what is the purpose of anyone dying?

So basically Kishi just wrote himself into a corner of not being able to kill off anyone. Which is ok for me, I don't want anyone to really die, but I still think Gai's build up to death and then being saved was kinda lame. But Kishi has to show of Naruto's new powers in till there real purpose come forth.


And sidenote.....Blitz I thought you quit the manga....

Throughout the series, Kishi has killed much more major characters than any of other long-running shonen authors.
Currently, he's just waiting for the right moment and the right character to kill. This war won't end without another major death...

Ultimately, Naruto is shounen...Not Seinen and certainly not a tragedy.

This is another case of fans making up bull to cover things they don't like and try to talk down about the actual author because things don't go their way...we don't justify anything, we are not the author...Stop Ghost writing.

did you ever stop to think he didn't kill people because their survival held plot relevance?

First Gaara revival...Introduced tensei style Jutsu

Nagato...displayed part of the power of Rennegan, which was said to be a tool of heaven(despite this, some NB members have said inane things like "I don't think a human should have that kind of power")

Trollkage was a nickname for that Mizukage with the jokeyboy jutsu...but i think you mean Oonooki (exactly what would his death accomplish, i'm sure many readers wouldn't care either way)

Gai was used to display/foreshadow some of Naruto's new power His death would've just repeated the Neji situation anyway, did we really need it?

Bee's status is unknown...and again wouldn't really accomplish much if he was revealed to be dead

whether you like it or not plenty have died in this war...although people call them fodders since they were unknown characters...we do not know their levels...sometimes so called fodders in this manga have pretty haxed or powerful abilities...

bad guys don't count as far as deaths villains for the most part are designed to be killed off at some point, but look how long this has been going on a story about ninjas with so called deadly ninjutsu and we have had what 4 deaths (pain doesn't count the were dead like 30 min same as gaara) and i want to say 2 of them were elderly anyway j-man,and the 3rd, and they both came back

Its funny people say Kishi is afraid to kill anyone and then when someone dose die like Neji,Shikamaru father or Ino's Father then they say no not Him or Her. As if in real life it fair.
