[Discussion] Mother's day rant on Homophobes

So my aunt kim died 6 years ago, and today we were headed to the canyon to spread the ashes( Me, my dad, My cousin and her girlfriend, my three other aunts and their husbands and kids, our grandma, and a few dogs.) We get there, and everyone brought something to commemorate her life. My Aunt Sandy brought sage, i brought a gift she had given, and the adults brought drinks that they often shared with her. Well, grandma didn't like the sage or anything anyone brought, so like a *****, she took the ashes and drove off leaving everyone there and refusing to let us celebrate our good times and the life she lived, saying only she knew what Kim wanted. So basically, hour long drive for nothing. We Burned the sage anyway and smudged, and later, we are having a BBQ to continue celebrating my cousins graduation and to celebrate kims life, we aren't taking showers and we are making sure we all smell like sage.

However, she ruined the BBQ too. She, being a homophobic ****-bag took all her anger out on my Lesbian cousin. She even blamed her for bringing my DAD, saying he is not family, when we have known their family for at least 17+ years, and been there for everything to support them. And now she says she is going to dump the ashes by herself. Well sorry but she was the one who told me Jesus loves everybody no matter what, and she is saying all these nasty hurtful things? She acted like my dad was why Kim died, and said he wasn't family. SHE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ME BEING THERE. She acts like I'm Kim's replacement or something. If she has an issue with my dad, then she has an issue with me, I'm not going to be her replacement for Kim, and furthermore, if she is going to be a hateful *****, and contradict her own words, I refuse to go to church with her. Jesus is love not hate, and thanks be to her for ruining mother's day.

The **** is wrong with people? I mean, they have every right as human being to not support gays, but being hateful about it is not okay. Way to ruin a perfectly good day. And treating any human being as lesser than you isnt okay either.

Well sorry for the language But Shit happens. As long as there is free will people will alsways act like that it been around since the beginning and it will be around till the bitter end. I'm so sry to hear this bro, I'm muslim myself, and Ye I also believe Jesus is love, but there is really nothing to do she is probably at that age where she had had lots of regrets, she is probably also hurt on the inside. she's grieving, people aren't always nice and rational when grieving.

give her time, i hope she will realise her mistake soon and apologize.
