Why don't you like DBZ?

most of the character development was done in part 1.. if you watch part 1 the characters are actually well done and had a good story..
part 2 is where it becomes more action based and about protecting the earth.. the series itself was actually supposed to initially stop after the frieza saga and then was supposed to stop after the cell saga once gohan had take over the role..

ide say its a well done series considering how many fans it has

Plot I can see why you'd say that. Characters - it has all types of characters in there, didn't see one person who was the same as the next. Development on characters, it's great. Most change in one way or another, so I call BS on that.

"ermgh, prince of all saiyan er erm ter greterst" I just love the parody videos made that have him in it because they're so true. Plot is awful. Wow, way to list one character in the series.

Naruto is way better. People talk shit about people not dying or coming back in Naruto, yet Goku died like three times. Krillin died. Vegeta died. Series is awful and power levels don't seem consistent.

I don't hate it or anything its just the fanboys. I use to respect goku but after the fanboys got a hold to him it was game over and the dbzverse too.

After i've seen all these great anime with great characters, good plot, etc you just realise how much dbz was missing, its just action packed.

Oh no girl, You shouldn't diss the prince. If naruto is better not by much it is vary flawed.

It's good for fights and explosions. It's severely lacking in the plot department, and if I remember correctly (been years since I've watched that), a lot of the characters (if not all) stay the same since first being introduced.

I think 60% of the reason why I say it's a great anime is because so many childhood memories are tied to it. Humans can get defensive of anything, even if that anything is complete garbage, if it has sentimental value (though I guess it wouldn't be garbage to them).

I'm not saying DBZ is garbage, in fact it's a good action anime to watch as long as you're not looking for good plots and character development.

DBZ is my Favorite shounen to date, however it is not my favorite anime to date, or even close to it.

He's the most fun one to make fun of. Every series has flaws, but not so much as DBZ. I liked DB when Goku was a kid. But DBZ was awful.
