I find it strange that Itachi could have obtain these sacred weapons after he awakened Susanoo

Oro, the genius searched for the Totsuka Blade for most of his life yet a teenager was able to find it (Yes I know its Itachi and he solos)

Obito trained Itachi and I think Obito gave Itachi the spiritual weapons. Obito doesnt need them cause he has kamui.

Obito said he traveled around the world in order to see how hopeless it is to live in the NV

Which got me thinking that he prob found the spiritual weapons while he was searching for a confirmation to his beliefs, which is why Zetsu was so surprised


This is just a guess though. There's no real evidence

Nah. Zetsu & Obito are like "that" (close relationship) & Zetsu would've already known Itachi was given Totsuka/Yata by Obito if that actually happened. As you can see, Zetsu & Zetsu were totally surprised by Itachi having them.

This, and I don't think Obito would trust Itachi with those anyways. Also, you shouldn't underestimate Itachi's intelligence.

Obito probably told Itachi where to go to join Akatsuki and before Itachi went there, he probably acquired the spiritual weapons..

Obito was using Itachi, he already knew Itachi was spying for Konoha
