If Madara opened the 8th gate, would he die?

I know that we've seen nothing to suggest that Madara can open the gates, but if he could, would he die? It's supposed to be guaranteed death for anyone who opens the eighth gate, but Guy survived thanks to Naruto. As a Juubi jinchuriki, wouldn't he be able to survive something this, considering that he has amazing tanking feats?

I'd also like to say that if any of the ridiculous people did learn to open the gates, then Lord have mercy. If EMS Madara knew how to open the 7th gate, he probably would have beat Hashirama.

Madara said he has the same senjutsu as Naruto, so I think Madz would heal himself like Naruto healed Guy. So, in conlusion, Madz would save himself.

I wonder... If a Juubi jinchuriki opened the gates, would it just increase their base powers, or the powers they get from the Juubi as well?

He wont die, because he has hashirama's dna that heals him, he has bijuu power healing him as well. So his body WILL get damaged, but he will never die from it or even have a permanent injury, the haxed dna and bijuu chakra would just keep healing his wounds and damages. Lastly, theres a reason why kishi never gave that kind of power to the worng people, and made only a few taijutsu masters that could use it.

he took away all of narutos chakra but he couldn't do they same to the 9 tails so the same would happen to madara if you think about it.........
