He shouldn't have to fight by looking at his feet. The only way he is getting caught by sharingan genjutsu is if Itachi immobilizes him, which isn't happening. As for crow genjutsu he may be able to break it with his lightning release armour. Madara needed EMS to put him in

Ay has bijuu level chakra that is constantly flowing throughout his lightning shroud, and he can certainly provide bursts of chakra flow with v2.

Itachi said "He's grown but still weak" when Naruto tried to kai release, it kind of implies that its possible to break it.
