I'm not suggesting anything.

But it's utterly plausible that this could be a temporary eye, in the same way as Madara using Obito's MS. The OP was stating that it is completely impossible.

He is not fodder. Remember he is still a genius, and has many jutsu. Far from being fodder. You don't need special dna and eyes to be strong.

Kakashi's father, Sakumo was said to be on par with the 3 Sannin.. He didn't have any Sharingan to achieve that kind of reputation.
Now, Kakashi doesn't have the Sharingan to hold his chakra pools back.


Who knows what Kishi plans to do with Kakashi from now on..

Maybe Kakashi's limitations will be removed, unleashing his full Hatake clan powers.. sort of like how Madara got much more powerful after changing into a living person from Edo Tensei. Idk. But I don't think Kishi is going to fodderize Kakashi.

first of all gai did not pass kakashi. the ability to open the eight gates does not lie only with gai, it's a jonin level jutsu that most could perform, so a power boost that u die from doesn't count. And as for the sharingan it wore him out most of the time so no worries he would get another one from danzo's closet once he gets back to leaf village

Kakashi is still plenty powerful he has a vast arsenal of jutsu and a lifetime of knowledge and experience. also remember how taxing it was for him to use the sharingan. think of it like when lee fought garra in part one and he took off his leg weights and became super fast. Kakashi now has full access to his chakra and stamina because the sharingan isn't constantly sapping it from him plus he has depth perception! at least I think how Kishi is going to write this so kakashi doesn't become fodder without his sharingan. he will get countered and dodged and murdered if he charges at Madara using Raikiri without a sharingan though.
