Byaku-rinnegan

I thought about something interesting this morning. What if a dead hyuuga was turned into a path of pain? Their body would then get both their byakugan and the rinnegan user's rinnegan. The path of pain would have access to both doujutsu powers because the paths still retain the powers they have in life (as evidenced by Obito's jinchuuriki 6 paths of pain).

Thus, Hiashi (or any other hyuuga that didn't have their eyes sealed) as a path of pain would give the rinnegan user access to the byaku-rinnegan so to speak.

Hmm, personally I don't see that posing too much of an advantage unless the Path can use Hyuuga techs like Rotation, etc. Rinnegan alone far outweighs the Byakugan by itself.

Obito's paths were still able to use their jutsus (like Yagura's mirror shield or Utakata's soap bubble ninjutsu).

True, but Kabuto did not control them and they did not have their own consciousness to move around and act on their own. Therefore they were like dead corpses. Besides, when did it ever say that paths of pain couldn't use their own jutsus if the controller knew how to make them use them? Was this in a scan or in the databook?

That is how edo tensei works, Kabuto doesnt need to control them they go after the enemy using their own techniques as zombies. Obito used 1 rod in each to control them. The only reason they could use their techniques was because they were edo tensei. If its not shown anywhere or stated anywhere then its not possible.

Quite the contrary. Think about this: Even after Naruto defeated the bijuus, the jinchuurikis were still edo tenseis and they were still present. That fact did not change. Did they do anything though? No. They just lay there like corpses despite being edo tensei. Why is this? It is because Kabuto did not give them any consciousness. He just left them to be purely under Obito's control. This proves that edo tenseis that are given no consciousness are effectively just corpses.

As for your statement of "if it is not shown or stated anywhere in the manga then it is impossible", that is false logic because it was in fact shown by these very jinchuurikis and the manga never stated that the jins wouldn't have been able to use those techniques had they been corpses instead of edos.

Personally, my philosophy is the opposite of yours. I believe that something in a manga is possible until proven impossible by the manga, where as you seem to believe that something is impossible until proven possible.
