I think it would have been more meaningful if Naruto would have been a normal child destined for greatness but instead of becoming OP, he used the traditional ninja way to fight, thus proving hard work pays off. However, with Madara practically unbeatable currently, it would be impossible for that to be pulled off and believable.

Not so much of who fights who but more of the fighting concept in general & not being flasbacked.
In total how many major fights were there in shippuden?
Naruto vs pain
Naruto vs orochimaru
Sasuke vs danzo
Sasuke vs itachi
Sasuke vs kage
Sasuke vs bee
Team asuma & team 7 vs hidan & kakazu
Most of the major fights involve either sasuke or naruto which gets pretty old

I think more characters from k11, anbu, jonin & other village shinobi should get more screentime & fighting
And it wouldnt hurt to be a lil more graphic lol
