Hey guys, I've heard a rumor that next week episode they're going to pack 5 chapters. Is that true?

Judging from the episode titles, I don't think it is possible.

May 15 - 582「カカシの決意」 | Kakashi's Resolve

Same title as Chapter 608's... I'm assuming it'll cover up to 610.

May 22 - 583話「忍連合軍の術！」 | The Allied Shinobi Forces Jutsu!

Chapter 612. (611, 612, 613...)

June 5 - 「繋がれるもの」 | The Connected Ones

Chapter 615. (614, 615, idk about the two-parters 616/617)

Hmm... You were right about the review. But I'm not sure from where he got that info.

Regarding chapter 607... The wiki (not always reliable, I know... But they're good at noting these things) lists episodes 346, 350 and 360 covered some of it but I don't remember how much of its content was actually covered.

If next week's episode will start from chapter 608 then the max chapters that I can see them covering are 4, since the chapter after the 4th one (612) shares its title with the May 22 episode... So, it is highly likely that 612 will be covered in May 22 episode. That leaves only 608, 609, 610, 611 for May 15... IF they're going for more than 3 chapters.

Precisely not especially for the last episode because we don't get enough info for the June Episode schedule after the "Connected One" so don't forget they might as well add the filler padding throughout the war juubi invasion arc just like when Naruto headbutt with Tobi episode with the 6 tails flashback and other episodes.

I can see Studio pierrot gonna add extra content material for the episodes in this war arc, so this last episode might cover 2 chapters and 1/4 - 1/3 of Filler padding possibly adding extra fighting scene with Neji before he dies something like that.

But we don't know how far they're going to cover canon material after neji death since I believe they're going to cover 2 chapters with 614 and 615 (the connected one) so my point is as I said since we don't know enough revelation after the episode Connected One in June Schedule it'll be hard to tell how many chapters its going to cover so they might add filler padding to prolong the
fightscene like Madara fight before neji death or extra flashback after Neji death.

If we do know the next episode title like " Enduring " and then afterward for Sasuke episode then What I said would be most likely true, because I went back to the manga site and both chapter 116-117 have both parts which are called " Whirling and Enduring 1 and 2" right before next chapter called "The one knows everything"

In my eyes who knows what studio pierrot is up to, remember last year they've added lots of filler padding within Canon episode even despite after filler war arc plus the next episode looks like having some Filler padding with Obito flashback which I don't recall seeing the same flashback when having this huge battle with Kakashi except right after tobi revealation.

Considering that Naruto is supposed to end this year and that an episode usually covers about two to three chapters, do you guys think it's plausible that the Kakashi Anbu arc was the last non-canon arc in the anime? Considering where the anime is heading in conjunction to the manga I can't really see where they could fit in another filler arc that would make some sense to the anime. Then again I guess they could just abruptly jump to some random BS that has nothing to do with the war which would suck. I wouldn’t put it pass them though.

I always thought fillers where put in place to keep the anime running without it catching up to the manga instead of just doing seasons like Magi, and Attack on Titan. I was actually pretty surprised that they did a filler arc after Tobi was revealed to be Obito. I thought that if they were going to do another filler arc it would've been during the Hashirama explanation to Sasuke about the creation of Konoha and what ninja are. I thought that would’ve been a little bit more of an appropriate filler arc to further build up Madara’s character. Not saying the last arc was bad, I did like how they gave more depth to Kakashi’s character, I just feel like filler episodes would’ve flowed a little better with the Hashi flash backs.

I have no idea, I don't follow Pokemon at all.

But Pokemon and Naruto have been trading 1 hour time slots like this for over 5 years, it has happened over a dozen times. When Pokemon has a double episode, that means Shippuden is also going to make up for it later by taking one of Pokemon's slots to have a double episode of their own.

So in reality we're not actually losing an episode like some people seem to think, we will get a double episode later to make up for it.

The Pokemon 1 hour episode was confirmed to be on the 29th, so forget what I said about the dates possibly being switched. So no episode on the 29th for sure.

But this usually means there will also be a double episode for Shippuden in the near future.

That would be impossible. Since January 23rd was a 1 hour special to make up for Naruto not having an episode in October 17th, that made them even. Then Naruto had another 1 hour special on March 6th. So now Pokemon was due for a 1 hour special because of that, which is on May 29th.

No the flashback was in the chapters read chapters 608 609 after watching the episode ,unless you want to read them before

Nope. Pokemon was owed a 1 hour special on May 29th because Naruto had two 1 hour specials, one in January, and one in March.
