The best and worst father/father figure in Naruto

Worst ones are the obvious subjective answers such as: Yondaime Kazekage, Hiashi Hyuga, and Butsuma Senju etc.

Besides the clear obvious ones, I think Fugaku Uchiha was a terrible father. He put his son, Itachi, through hell for his own selfish gain and he knew his son had to choose between his family or world peace, he was a true scumbag. And he ultimately gave Sasuke his inferiority complex to Itachi, he constantly competed with him because his father didn't give enough ****s to tell his son he loved him or anything, and eventually this went on to Sasuke constantly envying Naruto. **** Fugaku.

And the best one... Father figure, right? Asuma is definitely up there, he molded Shikamaru into an apparent Hokage candidate from a lazy slacker, not bad. I'm not going to say Minato due to the fact he deliberately sacrificed his son for his village [good leader, bad father]. I will go with Might Dai. He inspired his son more than anyone and, to me, Gai is the most positive and heroic character on the battlefield right now.

Best- Shikaku definitely. Honorable mentions are Gai, Might Dai, and Jiraiya (though he was at times a bad influence)
Worst- 4th Kazekage definitely. Honorable mentions (or rather dishonorable I suppose) are Hiashi and Fugaku

Should Minato even be counted, considering he was a dad for like 10 minutes? He's hard to judge as a hokage alone considering that he did very little during his reign and it was so short, how could one possibly compare him as a father? He wasn't there and dead.

Jiraiya: Best, he helped raise Naruto after his father's death, and even tried to help three orphans become better people (it almost worked, if Danzo didn't go and f*** things up)

Fugaku: Worst, the man was only looking for power and hatred. He was fueling the hate Madara left behind and allowed his own sons to pay the cost.

Just got to say this: Minato is not the worst, he had to put his life on the line to protect his village and his family. The man died prevent a shift in power which would lead to another war, saved the village from utter annihilation at the hands of Kurama and Obito, Stalled Obito's plans to capture the 9-tails for at least another 15 years, and saved his son from Kurama's power.
