Forever Lasting
Me and her, together forever,
that was the way I wanted it for me and her,
we loved each other more than anything else,
I wanted to be with her, always,
to have that feeling of eternal love, forever.
All her and I wanted, was to have the fleeting moments,
last forever more, to be in each other’s arms.
to forever be there for each other,
and for the first time before any other,
I felt truly alive, I felt true love.
I gave us our all, so too did she,
I always thought we were inseparable,
to have anything come between us was intolerable,
though this experience had proven to be educational,
as the love I had was torn from me soon after.
All I had wanted, was to have my time with her last forever,
but I now know that those thoughts were that of a foolish idiot,
the thoughts of a boy who had yet to experience pain,
the thoughts of one whose heart, not yet frozen,
now, my pain, my sorrow, is forever lasting.
