Why Didn't Obito Teach Nagato How to Use Rinnegan Chakra Chains to Extract the Bijuu?

Earlier in the manga, the Akatsuki had to capture the Jinchuuriki alive, have all Akatsuki members present, and then do the sealing ritual which took up the entire day.

I just realized that the chakra chains that Obito and Madara used during the war is able to instantly extract and seal bijuu. Madara used the chakra chains to extract and seal the 8 and 9 Tails. I assume that Madara told Obito about the chakra chains before he died since Obito was using it after he got the Rinnegan. So it would make sense for Obito to teach Nagato how to use the Rinnegan's chakra chains.

We have never seen Nagato use these chakra chains, so I assume he didn't know how to use them because Obito never taught him. This does not make sense. If Obito had taught Nagato how to use the Rinnegan's chakra chains then capturing and sealing the Bijuu would have been so much quicker.

I don't think obito knew that technique, I've only seen Madara use that, also obito isn't able to wield both rinnegan as we found out last chapter, you probably need both to use it, so obito probably didn't even know it existed

i think he did know about the chains he use them when he fought naruto kakashi and gai

obito only extracted the bijju from the mazu but still they were linked to the mazu remember that Son after naruto extracted the rods he was still connected the mazu so i can say that madara only know this method of sealing the bijuu

What's with all these members getting this idea that it is easier to control the Gedo mazou statue with the bijuus in it?

It's the complete opposite, it becomes harder to control so you need chakra chains to subdue the beast and use Gedo mazou.

Controlling all 7 beast with Gedo takes too much chakra with eye power alone <---Kakashi noted this


OT: Nagato couldn't effectively use the outer path chains because he couldn't control Gedo mazou properly.

Only Madara has shown such mastery of using the chains to extract a bijuu.
