How can you believe the hype with zero feats? The 8th gate had hype but it had lower gates feats to make people believe it. When hiruzen start showing S rank and S+ rank jutsu maybe then we can talk, but right the guy is throwing shurikens lol. Ten ten don't even do that no more.

hashirama is stronger than hiruzen no matter what you say. It was said at the beginning a swing of the ninetail's tail can destroy mountains. Shun suusenju is about 100x times bigger than the kyuubi and safe to say larger than a mountain. And if he uses that, hiruzen cant do anything. Even enma (staff form) will get broken into bits.

Hiruzen was strong. He was obviously the strongest kage of his generation and also one of the most powerful based on hype.
