Is Hiruzens God of Shinobi title just Hype?

Is Hiruzens God of Shinobi title just Hype? i dont think so. since its said in the manga i am not against it. but why ahs Hiruzen been drastically changed? i dont know whether he can be compared t Hahsirama or not but i follow the manga than anything.

Hiruzen was called God of Shinobi a title only Hahsirama and SO6P have. it is for his power( i dont know for what else).

Hiruzen isnt a god of shinobi for nothing. both him and hashirama have the title. whether hashi fans accept it or not. Hiruzen is the God of Shinobi.

if Hiruzen was just hype then why wasnt Minato and Tobirama called God of Shinobi?

It was just hype to actually make his fight against orochimaru hold more weight, were he not called the god of shinobi the fight would have seemed lackluster as he'd basically have been another generic shinobi.

I would not call it just a hype, he was able to stop Orochimarus plan and stop the kages as well (although they were in a weakened state, same applies to Hiruzen as well).

Hiruzen have not shown much feats after the revival (except Saving the Alliance,Countering the Buddha statue and saving Naruto from God tree).

Although comparing him with Juubi Jins and current Naruto/Sasuke is going overboard, still i would list him top tier along the other Kages.

2. in the war he hardly got screen time

3. Hype =/= title= feats, a person is given a title because of the feats they achieved. He mastered all of konoha's jutsu, and knows many combat forms and so on..

4. No hokage after him has received bigger hype than him.

True he was given that title for a reason. Plus he has techniques of all 5 elements, good use of his summoning, plus other various techs.

People do realize the title was never retconed. Orochimaru called Hashirama "A god of shinobi", not "THE god of shinobi". Meaning he is one of the 3, who held that title..So no Hiruzen's title still holds, its simply below Hashirama's.

Hiruzen was having difficulty taking on mini shinsuusenju. Imagine if he had to go up against a real one.

He'd get murdered. He was Edo, so he had infinite chakra, therefore the "he wasn't in his prime" argument is invalid. He is strong, but nothing compared to hashirama
