How did Naruto and Sasuke graduate together??

I am sorry if this question has been asked before..

If I remember correctly, Naruto failed the academy exam 3 times. In addition Sasuke is a little older than Naruto. Still how did they graduate together?

I'll assume that because of the uchiha massacre Sasuke didn't enter the academy the next day like he though he was. He probably didn't enter until later which would have been when Sakura and naruto entered the academy

This is the conclusion I came to as well. Seeing as how Naruto was under the watchful eye of Hiruzen who assigned Iruka to watch over him. I assume Naruto entered the academy 2 times while Sasuke was dealing with the fallout of the Uchiha Massacre.

Alot of guessing and nothing conrete though. Kishi's timelines give me a headache _@:

Careful. We shouldn't badmouth Kishi. According to some fans the guy is infallable and everything he does has been foreshadowed...even his timelines XD

Sasuke was already attending the academy when the massacre occurred. Naruto joined the academy before the uchiha massacre.

I agree with you though. The time lines are weird.
