How can sasuke surpass madara ?

Orochi said that some day sasuke will surpass even madara. But how?
Madz is strong af right now and is possibly going to fuse with kaguya how can sasuke surpass that ?
If he surpasses him than I feel bad for naruto.. cause he'd have to surpass hoguromo right ?
Can you guys help answer these questions pls

clearly the remainder of the series is going to be a never ending cycle of powering up, which will result in susuke AND naruto being more powerful than madara..eventually.

madara takes sage chakra from hashi, madara becomes juubi jin, naruto and sasuke gets SOSP chakra, madara absorbs god tree, madara gets obitos MS and kamui, madara will 99.999% emerge with BOTH rinnegan, sasuke will probably need to awaken other rinnesharingan, while naruto will need an equally strong power-up, possibly juubi chakra mode, madara will fuse with kaguya forcing yet ANOTHER power-up for naruto and susuke (my guess is from SO6P brother!) this final fight will result in madara finally losing, ANNNNND ONE MORE POWER-UP.. A NEW JUUBI HOST! which will either be naruto or split between naruto AND susuke, OR they will fight for that power, to see who gets to keep it!

No, time doesnt equate power up. Everyone has a limit. That's why everyone has different potential. And itachi reached his when he awoken ms back then

Time does equate power it till time for naruto to get this strong
It took decades for madz to get to his current level
Itachi is not a good example he was ill and he had no purpose of gaining further strength because he wanted sasuke to kill him so that he can gain further strength and it all took time.
