Madara: Reason for Kid Obito's near death experience ?

In the latest chapter we found out that Madara planned for Obito to descend into the darkness, and he also planned Rins death. Which makes sense because at the time it seemed way too a coincidence Madara just happened to find Obito in one of his secret pathways on the brink of death. So would it be too far fetched to say that Madara could have also planned for that cave to collapse and for Obito to be crushed?

Nope I think that was by chance. Otherwise Madara would have mentioned that as well to him in this last chapter. I think that was by chance/fate the rest Madara put into motion to gain a key player in his plans.

He didn't plan his near death but was tracking him, so when the cave collapsed, Madara came to get him.

I think it is possible that madara made the cave collapse, but there is no way he could've predicted that obito would push kakashi out of the way! he probably was just trying to kill kakashi at that point to activate obito's MS, but fate (and luck) had other plans...

Madara did say he knew Obito cared for elders and went out of his way to help them so he could have done so stalking prior to the incident
