I think it would be respectable, but only if he ended it in a badass way. The other two writers would of course hear about it and might be forced to copy him out of fear. It could be a strategic move and many of you would call it the ultimate asspull but if he pulls it out correctly everyone could be satisfied (some of you anally scarred)

Although this could shift merchandise sales to other series

THAT IS GOOD, because it shows that Kishi is not all about the money like people probably think.

This would definitely help him focus on his personal life and not just writing/drawing, because we all need time to ourselves.

It's quite obvious kishi wouldn't have a problem getting revenue after he ends naruto, he's an accomplished established artist already.

Its going to end first, but I would highly recommend not to get your hopes that he will do a unique ending up. Naruto is pretty much set up for a standard Shounen ending.

To do something unique requires a lot of set up.

Other authors shouldn't be influence by Kishi's decision. Let them do their work at their own pace.

I don't see how ending it first helps .

Ending it soon in general would help himself and everybody move on. The first part I just said it would be strategic because as someone in the manga world it shows that he's not afraid to do something first.

What does ending first have to do with anything?

Not really, people end their manga when they decide to end it.

Its not like its a race or that they will care.

Are you saying that if Naruto ends, Oda might do the same to Naruto?

Trying to send a message at the cost of your story is the stupidest move

Who said I'm not letting them work at their own pace? Many people complain about the story getting too long and I agree, it takes a certain level of maturity to end something and move on. Kishi is not really young anymore, and isn't getting younger. Why can't you respect his health?

So you made this thread because you're worried about his health?

You are assuming everything is the same and under equal scrutiny, at an equal level, as if some shit tier manga could have the same affect that let's say One piece does, and that these artists would not consider anything but their own, but remember that they usually had someone in the past to do it before them as well as their own decisions which might or might not be influenced by others decisions.

Yet everyone likes to say that in shonen manga there are guidlines and people usually stick to them or whatever... What guidlines? What the **** are you talking about?

That as well as your health sir, I do not think everyone is mentally stable anymore, narutobase is a great example of that. It's not even trolling I know for a fact it is justified mental illness!

Cool, so I guess posing a question means you're mentally unstable.

The guidelines are the ones written in any Shounen Publishing company, the simple term is the Editors.

They draw the lines the author can't cross and make the rules.

I doubt he's looking at it like that, kishi has a story to tell once he finishes it's it's over weather it's 26 weeks from now, 52 or 156, I'll probably keep reading regardless of if bleach is still coming out. And he's 39 not like old age is right around the corner

Lol that's funny that you would assume I called you mentally unstable. It is for EVERYONE'S wellbeing not just yours, and narutobase members show clear signs of blurring fact from reality and many other mental issues. I'm sure Kishimoto does not have these mental problems but rather suffers the emotional burden of sitting in a room all day and the physical burden in his hands.

So I guess I'm right that you created this thread to solely discuss on Kishi's health. Deal with it mate. Kishi has been doing this for years and he should be use to it by now. He should know when to take a break or not, plus Naruto's going to end soon so quit your worrying.
