Think about it though, does Naruto now have the ability to create sharingan's. If Obito somehow gets back Naruto could create a new sharingan from his missing eye, rip it out, create a new one, and keep repeating the process. Same with rinnegan. Naruto could rip out Sasuke rinnegan create a new one in the same eye socket and then take out his other eye and put the original rinnegan in the other socket and now Sasuke has two rinnegans.

Perhaps, but he doesn't have ems so he'd eventually lose its light anyway as he pretty much already had. Furthermore, it seems to be implied overuse of the MS was what made Itachi sick. This is supported by he stating Madara's body started becoming diseased until he took Izuna's eyes.

it would also come in handy for restoring the mangekyo after the user loses their vision....very handy.

Just because he lost an eye, it doesn't mean he forgot how to do all the jutsu's he already learned.
