It is a psychological attack. He is ****ing with Obito because Obito is trying to express how much he changed, and how much he desperately attempts to show that he is goody 2 shoes.

Madara is trying to humiliate him and tease. I don't think Madara changed his opinion, or think that he is evil. I doubt he even believes in good vs evil lol.

Totally disagree, I think he puts that act to show just how much Obito is a puppet to "evil" "darkness", because at the moment, Obito is trying really hard to be good and redeem himself.

Well, I see where you are coming from. Madara seems to be pretty committed and confident that he is doing the "right" thing. Even pretending or masking won't go with his style.

However, I will also wait for some more translations and the official one. Tbh, "darkness" is not necessarily "evil". It is brought up as the same thing across many fiction. It is rather to do with approach perhaps?

Nagato had the best intentions until the very end. He was a mass-murderer and what he was and did, was extremely "dark". However, he is by no means "evil" imo.

Same case with Madara and his "approach".

actually, you're reading comprehension needs work because clearly Madara is simply getting under the dude's skin. He never brought his agenda into the conversation, and yet you make a thread about how he's contradicting himself. Yes he has good intentions...but he is all about the end result. He could care less how he gets there and it has always been this way.

You know even Hitler didn't think of himself as evil and only thought he was bettering the human race...

It is not necessarily a contradiction so much as 'necessary evils' needed to achieve 'good intentions'. basically it's a shout-out to starwars and how the dark side wasn't viewed as 'evil' by the ones who practiced it.
