Which current Kage can beat Itachi?

I've seen on the internet before that Kishimoto has said himself Itachi would beat Madara in a fight. Obivously if this is true, then none. If it isn't true, however, then for me I'd probably still say none. Raikage and Tsuchikage would have the best chance imo, but for me, Itachi could end up beating all of them,

@bold, that was years ago, back when Tobi was known as "Madara". Meaning that Kishimoto has stated Itachi can beat MS Obito in a fight.

ot: Honestly, none of them would beat him. But the closest that would come to beating him would probably be Gaara, considering that he can rely on his long-distance techs the most. Though, in the end if Itachi were going on a 1v1 with any of them, they would lose.

-A fell for Madara's genjutsu. I honestly don't see it being any different for Itachi, especially considering that his arsenal revolves around genjutsu and Maddy was just using it for kicks.

-Tsunade, Mei, or Onoki can get hurt by genjutsu, amaterasu, susanno techs like Yasaka Magatama, etc. Itachi also has a faster base speed than all of these 3.

-Gaara shouldn't look at Itachi's eyes, finger, or crow summons'. Too bad he has no idea that Itachi can cast non-ocular genjutsu, neither do the other kage.

^^ If none for either of these two (doesn't matter who), then the same story applies for itachi.

A lot of the current Kage can actually beat Kisame.
Nagato is a different story.

There is nothing itachi can do when they take flight.

Gaara can attack and defend from the sky at the same time.
Oonoki can make golems on the ground and attack from above with Jinton.

Itachi looses to both.

I would go as far as to say raikage but with one arm he'll probably lose.

Ay and Ohnoki have a shot.

Ay won't get caught in genjutsu and Amaterasu will never hit him. Itachi cannot use Susanoo forever and Ay's stamina blows Itachi's stamina out of the water. A barrage of heavy blows to Susanoo will break a few rib cages so Yata Mirror will need to be up at all times. Ay could probably outlast him, that's if he doesn't go V2 and blitz him from the start.

And Ohnoki has vast experience of powerful Uchiha and Susanoo can't really defend against particle style.. However his old age may be his downfall.

Sasuke and Itachi are two different Beings By the time Sasuke has one strategy Itachi already has 5 Plus Itachi is the greatest
Genjutsu user when he was alive and sasuke was just testing out his power but no he won't beat itachi but he will be Mid to Low-High if he doesn't get caught under a genjutsu

Not at all, considering that kisame can consume chakra and beat the 8 tailed beast in v1 and v2 mid difficulty.

As for Nagato, nothing change...

He's on the same boat as itachi, otherwise he would never lose in the series.
