I'd agree Hinata has an interesting background story, but I don't think it's that much more interesting than Sakura, who also had a lot more subsequent development. I don't think Hinata, written as she is, could pull of a better heroine that Sakura.
That's because unlike Hinata Sakura had more panel time.However if we look at the potential then Hinata is basically a mirror of Naruto in terms of backstory and development,both were outcasts,both trained hard to become acknowledged,and both were thought of as failures.
There's tons of potential in that for Hinata to be the main herione.

And there's the whole clan business. Imagine what Hinata would be like if Kishimoto choose to make her focus to not only get stronger for Naruto, but to earn her way back to being the heiress of the Hyuga and to erase her shame.

Of course there's potential. After nearing 700 chapters there ought to be, however, this is very subjective. I don't think Hinata would be an interesting character because what we have seen of her, whilst interesting, isn't compelling enough to me to wish Kishimoto wrote the entire story differently. There is no real right or wrong answer as to which character would make a better heroine. As much as we'd like to kid ourselves into thinking our opinions, no matter how well written, are fact, they're not. They're just opinions.
Edo Hiruzen does not have the burdens of finite chakra and stamina and has an incredibly versatile skill set, having mastered all forms of shinobi combat. Add to this his summon Enma and suicide fūinjutsu and you have a real threat on your hands.
Everything that was irrelevant has been crossed out. Basically you are telling me Edo Hiruzen=Sasuke because he can use all 5 elements, with one hand sign. Lol, wankers these days.

Lol, Enma? Enma is useless as it won't protect him from Amaterasu, Susanoo, Enton Kagustuchi nor will it let him get past Susanoo, and don't even mention Reaper Death Seal here. Hiruzen needs to grab his target to use it efficiently, if he tries that...one the following happen.
