Deidara wins high difficulty. His clay bird has the speed to avoid all of Sasori's attacks. His guided missiles are quire fast and could slip through Sasori's defences and taking out the 3rd Kazekage puppet with the area of effect of his explosion. Sasori's puppet army gets destroyed by a barrage of C2 bombs or Deidara finishes Sasori off with C3.

Deidara effortlessly avoids all of the Senbon from atop his C2 Dragon. Hiruko is a stationary puppet, he'll be forced out easily enough.

From her Deidara executes the sane strategy he did versus Sasuke; hiding in the mass of his C2 Dragon while a Nendo Bunshin is atop. Even if a poisoned weapon or Satetsu manages to hit, it won't be effective.

100 Puppets are taken down via C3.

Iron sand tanks c1, and c2. c4 is useless against sasori as it needs to enter your bloodstream to have an effect on you, and sasori has no organs or lungs to be nuked from the inside. c3 takes too much prep, plus can probably be tanked by iron sand. c0 is a suicide technique, so no point bringing that up. Then there's the poison and needles from hiruko. Unless deidara starts the fight in the air, one scratch ends the fight. Overall I believe Deidara can beat some higher level opponents that sasori can't, but sasori is a horrid matchup for deidara. He literally counters his entire arsenal.

Remember that Deidara's techniques take time and with the 3rd Kazekage up his ass, he'll barely have enough time to focus on attacking since he'll be too busy dodging Sasori's attacks. Remember than Gaara could have beaten Deidara almost unscratched if Gaara didnt have to save the village.

C3 taking prep? Where did you get that idea? It took a gigantic amount of Sand for Gaara to completely tank it. Sasori can't generate that much Satetsu. Not to mention that Deidara can simply utilize some clever C1 to destroy 3rd Kazekage; centipede and the like. Sasori can't sense chakra, so if Deidara distracts him in the air it'll work.

I've recently considered; C4 is simply a large cloud of nano-bombs. Wouldn't it be possible to simply detonate them once they settle on the opponent's skin?
