Raising soldiers from children.

A couple of my friends and I were talking about this at work, and we were trying to decide if this was even something that could be done.

We were merely wondering if children, from the time they are old enough, could be solely raised as soldiers. You have it in things like Naruto and CP9 in One Piece, obviously that's fictional but the idea is still there.

I personally don't think it's a terrible idea. Just orphans or some such raised to be perfectly disciplined soldiers and Officers, like an Advanced ROTC. They would be the next Generation of Navy Seals easily.
