Okay, so lets recap a bit :

Izanagi changes the reality in exchange of the user's eye sight.
So it's safe to assume that, in normal conditions,it can only be used twice.

Then we have Izanami, who is said to be able to "save" the izanagi user. But how the hell did a Izanagi user can be saved if he's already blind and cannot cast it again? Or if he used it only once, he would be pretty stupid to use it again, unless it's a death or life case.

I mean, unless you have a huge "sharingan collection" at your disposal, Izanami is useless, so what was the point in creating it?

What are your thoughts?

The uchihas had multiple sharingans which explains why they constantly spam Izanagi. If they only had their 2 eyes then this whole spamming Izanagi problem would be over quickly.

Inzanami was used to save people who have fallen victim to the blood-thirsty cycle that comes with immense power of the inzanagi sharigan(after killing a fellow uchiha, one could easily retrieve the others eyes) . Remember after losing people closest to you sharigan users sprout new chakra that's more powerful, thus creating an endless cycle of killing.

98% of the threads with plot holes in the title, never actually have a plot hole.

Izanami is used by someone else, not the Izanagi user. Izanami doesn't "save" the Izanagi user either. It forces them to accept the outcome they reversed.

Well I think that the izanagi is an unusual technique which was not as carefully made as some of the other jutsu kishi made.

It can be used as many times as possible before the eye closes for good.
example: If Danzo vs Sasuke... & Sasuke throws 6 explosive tagged Kunai and they all hit Danzo in succession , 1 after another, then Danzo can use Izanagi to undo the damage of all 6 of them 6x in a row before the eye closes. He can do Izanagi as much as he wants with only 1 eye before it closes.

Lets say an uchiha uses izanagi on another uchiha and he kills him, look at that he now has two new good eyes that he can use izanagi on

Perhaps the Uchiha began to be corrupted by Izanagi.

By this I mean that they grew so obsessed with it that they began to take the eyes of other Uchihas.

Izanami was then created to save them from that corruption.

If you use it in any situation that is not a life and death situation, you're a moron. Also it doesn't specify whether you just lose your eyesight or your sharingan powers completely

Itachi explained Izanami was supposed to intercept Izanagi before the person could complete it, causing them to repeat the same event over and over until they accept their fate and die or accept the event and their failure and thus cannot change it.
