Few Rasengan users... WHY?

Ah... That's right. I remember that Naruto used his multiple shadow clones while training with Jiraya. The experience the clones gained tranferred to Naruto making him somewhat "smarter"...lol

The thought of Sakura using rasengan is stupid, especially since her punches do more damage, and probably for less chakra.

I always used to think that naruto should learn the 1 handed rasengan by using a ton of clones, like how he learned wind release.

It's Narutos signature jutsu,Kishi had to find an excuse so that only a few characters could use it.That excuse is that it was taught only to Jiraiya and he probably didn't want to run around teaching it to everyone.Plus it was fairly hard to learn.But that leaves a plothole why didn't he taught it to Nagato (with the rinnengan he would have mastered it pretty easily) or to Yahiko?Also it was initially said that combining rassengan with a element was nearly impossible, even the frog sage,4rth hokage and Kakashi with his sharingan failed and Naruto needed a hell of training to complete his rashensuriken.But in the previous chapter he created a new lave style rashengan and also with Shukakus chakra he turned rasengan into a sealing jutsu!!!And he accomplished that with zero training in the battlefield.Of course we can assume that the tailed beasts did 50% of the job needed but still...It's exaggerated.

didn't jiraiya teach it to Minato? I know it was the 4th Naruto shippuden movie and it's not really canon but still

No jiriaya stated clearly in canon that minato created the jutsu

Minato Namikaze created the Rasengan and He showed Jiraiya and Kakashi how to use it was an incomplete jutsu. Naruto learn it from Jiraiya and He showed Konaharu how to use it. Naruto was the first to add element to it and make it a complete jutsu. Not every ninja can add element to the Rasengan. And sines it a Namikaze/Uzumaki invention at this point and time they're not going to be many users. But ones Naruto and Hinata have children they're going to be run all over the village shouting out Rasengan thanks to the Uzumaki Clan.

I think anyone good at manipulating there chakra can learn rasengan. It might take 1-2 years to learn.
I mean we saw how in part 1 neji controlled his chakra and molded it. Also Hinata made 2 big ass Lion Heads out of pure chakra, if that's not good chakra control, I don't know what is. As far as adding their own specific element in it, that's a whole nother story.

You're saying rasengan has very few users? It went from just Minato and Jiraiya to Minato, Jiraiya, Naruto, Kakashi (showed it later), and Konohamoru.

While chidori has two users. Kakashi and Sasuke. That hasn't changed. I do think it would've been cool if Orochimaru or Neji was somehow able to do it.

Not Orochis style, It would fit Neji though since it's a spiraling ball of chakra, kinda like Rotation.
