I´d prefer an "international" topic being chose, because while you´re in spring with spring break, I´m here with autumn and no spring breaks >_<

So Easter would be more "fair" in my opinion

Not everyone is a christian though and to be honest I don't like religion related themes generally. I find them very limited, it's an international site after all not everyone can have the same religion.
Spring on the other hand is a good theme for me you don't need to have spring to make it you can use flowers/plants, a drawing of a spring related theme or just something really cheerful and colorful etc,etc.

How about Culture and NB?


I mean , each of us came from different country, different background and culture. I think it will be fantastic to see how we can represent each of our own country with this theme.

Thoughts guys? Too complicated?

Oh I have to go to Olympus and get a picture of the Greek Gods there??What a drag....

Just kidding, I like the culture theme, it has a big variety of things we could use in a photo.

Since everyone has different opinion about the Spring and Easter theme, would it be good if we choose a theme that is not Easter or Spring?

On the other forum, I saw that a host of the contest sometimes organised a thread with a poll so that other members would vote for their favorite theme. The theme with most votes would be theme for the contest.

This idea sounds pretty fair to me...

How about a weather theme..!! The will post something special in special weather like storm/rainy/cold(breath)/smoke/dust,etc,etc =D

Sorry had a big change in my life so this got behind.

I talked to Zise and I have a proposition to keep the contest active: being hosted by a member willing to do so. If there is anyone interested in it, please PM me. The host would simply post the given threads and organize the contest. Since its a voting contest now there shouldn't be any issue in that and the contest is still overseen by me and the rest of the staff.

How does that sound?

I talked to Zise and I have a proposition to keep the contest active: being hosted by a member willing to do so. If there is anyone interested in it, please PM me. The host would simply post the given threads and organize the contest. Since its a voting contest now there shouldn't be any issue in that and the contest is still overseen by me and the rest of the staff.

But if you´re the host then you can´t participate in the contest, right?

Its long been a rule that the hosts don't partake in the contests they host. Unwritten rule but one that goes hand in hand with the role. One example is that the host can easily manipulate the contests theme to allow a given advantage to him or herself. Or, since the host can change the rules of the contest and edit the contest, manipulate it to serve himself. To avoid the temptation of it and all that, its been the rule that the host stays a neutral party in the contest he hosts.

I'd say the first PM'er gets the place. I'd do that, but I'm not known nor popular here.
