This is what I noticed with all these mangas!

1. they start about work hard you will achieve great power! suddenly after wards you meet the chosen ones where hard work doesn't matter!

* Naruto start weak, work hard then strong -------- then he is the savoir of the world(them kibas and shinos they will work their butts off for nothing)
* Goku as well ------- then he is a saying(them krillins being a human they're rendered useless!)
need I mention more animes!

The retcon is strong in these series, that's why prefer bleach and op these days because we know from the start how beastly the protagonist is without training. Luffy n ichigo didn't struggle to gain power, so now I don't get wierded out by power ups and prophecies.

It's quite an emotional series with the best fight scenes and the art style fits it so well because Oda (the manga artist ) likes cramming every little detail into a panel to foreshadow or even just acknowledge stuff that's happened int the world. Watch the latest episode or amv and judge if it's worth your time cos I guarantee you'd love it.

It's because they don't want to portray a loser,a forever loser,as many so called "genius" here want them to be. Forget dragonball but in Naruto,the story follows the life of Naruto Uzumaki and seriously even in real life a hardworker can't always surpass a genius. Both type of people exist in reality and fiction. And besides wasn't it just a 12 yrs. old naive view on life? Though GAI did proved it.
