Slade possesses a black and orange mask. The version kept on the island is a solid mask with a black/orange fabric balaklava. The version in the present day appears to be a metal helmet, with the black side acting as an eyepatch. Slade wears this mask as his villain alter-ego Deathstroke, to hide his identity from his victims. He sports a full body armour, has two swords that he carries on his back, and wields a katana.

Personality

Slade appears less cold and distant, but retains his appearance of an anti-hero. Slade is a man of good morals, who puts up a tough act, but underneath is a caring individual. However, Slade does not take well to traitors, and would not hesitate to end any treacherous swine he comes across. Slade only trusts and cares for people who have proven themselves to him.

Slade's personality takes a turn for the worse after his injection with Mirakuru, which combined with his grief over the loss of Shado makes him impulsive, reckless, and bent on revenge.

Slade's anger has increased more to the point of full vendetta against anyone who opposes him. Slade also does not seem to be very tolerant of those who fail him, and would gladly kill his own underlings to send a message.

背景情報|Background Info

History

Slade was born into the Bloody Mist Village. He was born a child prodigy. During the academy years, he formed close bonds with his classmate, Shado. Together, they completed missions and very excellent friends. However, it all changed when the Sand Village attacked. As he was a prodigy, his assistance was required at the battlefield. However, while he was fighting, he was up against numerous Jounins. Even after fighting valiantly, he was facing certain death, Slade accepted his fate. However, at the last moment, Shado intervened, giving her life for his. Overcome with rage, he annihilated the opposition. Overcome with grief, he travelled the world, to find a way to resurrect Shado. What he found instead, was Mirakuru, inside the caves in the Land of Iron. However, just as he was about to leave, he was ganged upon by anonymous ninja. Used as a test subject, the Mirakuru was injected into him. This changed him. He became a killer, a cold-blooded one. He would stop at nothing, to slay the ninja's who destroyed his life.
