Madara giving Nagato his eyes is an unexplainable plot hole.

Here is why. Madara awakened the Rinnegan at an old age, an age so old that he had to be attached to something in order keep himself alive.(I say something because I forgot what it was) in order to give him his eyes he would had to have unattached himself and then he would die within seconds. This is what happened in the anime when he unattached himself from that thing. This is a plot hole that cannot be explained.

Madara could of been the statues jinchuuriki when he implanted his eyes into him.

Madara had a 1 eye spare, so he was able to see through one eye.

Haha I was about to do the same..... ^_^ We don't know for sure how he did this....but I feel sending a Zetsu is probably the most understandable answer. Tbh I feel Kishi will not ever explain in detail exactly how it happened.

He could have sacrificed a White Zetsu to do the Impersonation Jutsu so that he could remotely control his clone from his cave and wore Spiral Zetsu in order to move since he was a feeble old man at the time.

How the transplant happened, how Nagato never realized the difference, and how his parents never realized the difference are all a mystery.
