Soo.. I want to buy a 3DS XL for the pokemon games X and Y but I'm curious to when the new ds handheld will come out because I dont wanna buy it and have something else release like 2 months after you know what I mean? Anyone know when a new pokemon game comes out too? like every year or what? Not really sure n thanks

A new DS handheld is not coming out soon. Think of it like a console, it's not like they'll make a PS5 or Xbox Two within the next two-three years.

Also, rumor has it a Pokemon game is coming out next year because.

the 3ds xl is the new things now...get that zelda one before you cant anymore....i think maybe in the fall we might get another pokemon game if they choose to do a global launch again

About Pokemon, I'm not sure. X and Y only had around 70 new Pokemon and even the guide book hints at a new game. Kinda like how there was Gold/Silver, then they made Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire then Emerald. People think they'll make a Pokemon Z later this year or next year.

Also about new console, the Wii U and the 3DS are brand new. They aren't making a new console anytime soon.
