now note the manga itself is meant for 18+ viewers because there are some scenes in it, but overal if your mature about you shouldnt have problem with that, infact it was an education *** ed video, but thats all it.
but straight to the point the best romance manga is Ai-Ren.
why its the best manga?
it just has has the most straight up realistic characters in it, it doesnt have this whole player playboy drama which is unrealistic in the human nature to be cursed upon lol
rosario vampire
SAO
school days
and twilight just for lolz
now moving back to ai-ren without having any spoilers in it, im going to say the story takes place actually far in the futuristic human society where this apocalypse happening. you also things like artificial intellegence and life forms being engineered. and so it follows the story of a terminally ill boy named ikuru, who is founded with loneliness and dilemma, he decided to get a messenger whos serve a comfort for terminally ill patients. and thats where we see this Ai character develop in the story, at first she is sorta a childlish naive character in the story, kind of like kid goku who is pure hearted doesnt and doesnt really understand shame. but she in few months grows up alot and starts to remember her task.
during many parts of the story we see ikuru struggling more to cope with himself hunted with memories and dreams of his body destruction and of his death.
now one of the parts of the story is this love relationship in the story that will be going between Ai and ikuru
and the second part of the story will have this question in ikuru point of view what will happen to me after i die, the problem is that in their society religion become obsolete and not only he just doesnt believe in religion or god, its just that, its sorta like a myth to them now, he doesnt understand what its about, and there is no books or any people in the world that know about spirits, religion and gods. so it kind of out of the question for him.
and the story kinda question the whole idea does love or compassion really something that exist and my answer to
is that no, love or compassion inst something natural because nature, universe, or treasures neither none of them care about you see someone important to care.
infact love is just a fantasy but the wait it can be converted into reality when 2 people can understand it, instead of one person doing something for an other person that would simply just ignore.
SPOILERS SECTION AND ENDING

so as i conclude this review im going to actually mention the ending if you dont really mind the spoilers, but yeah pretty much the Ai in the end dies because she only is programmed to live for less than a year, and she died in her sleep. while Ikuru died later from a worse fate he could have had, a stray missle blast landed next to him and he was covered by rocks and debrees which kinda ended him.
